Who we are
With a solid trajectory in Brazil since 1996, the Canes is responsible for promoting culture in several areas: visual arts, theater, dance, theater and all other forms of expression. Through concerts, shows, displays and exhibitions, workshops, courses and social activities it seeks to receive and disseminate art in the best possible way.
“Cultura Viva” (as Living Culture), for example, promotes free workshops for music and theater for children by giving them the opportunity to contact the arts.
The initiative to support the exhibition Ensalada Libre reaffirms the responsibility of the Canes in the art spread throughout society making room for new talent and valuing their works.
About Canes
Multinational founded in Sweden in 1976, when Professor Filip Canes decided to leave the chair devoted to teache and entrepreneurship. Acting initially as exports of machinery for production of dairy, the Canes break down in Europe and Latin America and has become even in the 1980s, as one of the largest companies in technological research and development of these machines. Today, with headquarters in São Paulo, Argentina and Mexico, the company devotes much of its annual profits to invest in culture and society by following the precepts of their guarantor.
